Anna fights for those injured because of others’ negligence and those consumers wronged by bad business practices. At McGowan, Hood, Felder & Phillips, LLC, Anna focuses her practice on representing individuals in medical malpractice, personal injury suits, class actions, consumer fraud cases and insurance bad faith cases. 

Anna was born and raised in Georgia and Alabama. She went to college at Lenoir-Rhyne College in Hickory, North Carolina, and then attended the University of South Carolina School of Law.  While at the University of South Carolina, Anna was on the dean’s list and a representative for the Student Bar Association.  After graduation, she settled in the Myrtle Beach area where she met her husband, John.

Before joining McGowan, Hood, Felder & Phillips, LLC, she worked as an associate with Rice, MacDonald & Hicks, P.A. for seven years, focusing mainly on civil litigation, collections and homeowners associations.

In her spare time Anna enjoys the beach, Gamecock Football, and spending time with her husband and children, MaryHope, Andy and Wally.

Anna is a member of the Georgetown County Bar Association, South Carolina Bar Association, the American Association for Justice and the South Carolina Trial Lawyers Association.
