- Being denied pay, or being forced to seek payment through third-parties;
- Being denied access to money, travel documents, or ID;
- Having your actions constantly monitored;
- Being subjected to physical abuse;
- Forced sexual contact without your consent, or being forced into sex acts;
- Being “branded” or tattooed;
- Being denied access to your friends and loved ones;
- Being forced to refer to your captors and/or other victims as your “family;”
- Being forced to attend social functions to recruit new members of your “family;”
- Being denied access to clean clothes, food, and/or clean water.
